The Power of New information

I remember when I was a young woman living in San Francisco, California.  I was trying to find a better way.  I was open and eager to learning anything that would make my life better. I was so receptive to learning new information and striving for better.  My thoughts were on what I was going to do in my life.  While cleaning and sorting through a closet full of old items and junk. I found a little old dusty red book that was ripped with the pages falling out coming apart.  The title of the book was The Game of Life and How to Play It by Florence Scovel Shinn. I almost tossed the book without looking inside just looking at its physical appearance, but I started reading the book I got so connected to the book because within the book it brought forth new information for me.  The information transformed my way of thinking. It transformed how I viewed life. The new information helped me to reduce stress and to notice what words I was speaking, what I was thinking, and how I was treating other people.  The book caused me to pause and sent me on a journey of applying what I had learned in the book.  The new information in the book-shaped my reality in a very positive manner and contributed greatly to my approach to helping others that I serve. The New Information was a masterpiece an important building block for my life and for how I provide help and support to others.  So here is some of the information I learned on that day:  

 

Also, the book helped me to understand the power of words and how they are creators in life.  And not to despise the “day of small things.”

My favorite affirmations that were stated in the book are:

“Divine Love now dissolves and dissipates every wrong condition in my mind, body, and affairs. Divine Love is the most powerful chemical in the universe, and dissolves everything which is not of itself!”
